TRB Development was founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Trevor Burgess and Jonathan Carlon with the goal of acquiring and developing residential home sites to deliver great value-priced, move-in-ready new homes. To date TRB Development and its affiliates have acquired over 300 home sites located in Florida’s Manatee, Charlotte and Lee counties.
Trevor Burgess is Chairman of TRB Development. Trevor is the former President & CEO of C1 Bank which operated more than 40 locations throughout Florida. C1 Bank was headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL and was recognized for its commitment to entrepreneurs in the community. During Trevor’s tenure C1 Bank provided more than $2 billion in personal and small business loans to the local communities. Trevor was named the 2014 American Banker Community Banker of the Year and was recognized as the 2013 Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year in the financial services category. C1 Bank was sold to Bank of the Ozarks in 2016. Prior to founding C1 Bank, Trevor served as an investment banker and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he executed over $50 billion in initial public offerings and other capital raising transactions. Trevor graduated from Dartmouth College in 1994.
Jon Carlon is President of TRB Development. Jon is the former Vice President and Chief of Staff at C1 Bank where he was responsible for financial modeling and investor relations. During his tenure, Jon’s role included the oversight and analysis of the bank’s extensive real estate portfolio. Jon graduated from Marietta College in 2007 and with an MBA from the University of Tampa in 2013.

Contractor Jonathan Meyer founded JWM Residential LLC to build exclusively for TRB Development. JWM focuses on New Home Construction in the Rotonda Heights and East Englewood neighborhoods. JWM Residential builds in a transitional style infusing modern elements into classic Florida home styles.

We work with Real Estate Agents from across Florida to deliver more home for less money (and headache) to their clients. TRB Development is proud to build every home spec, that is, we never require buyers to obtain construction loans to finance their new home. We build everything using our money and the buyer simply provides end financing (or cash) for the purchase of their home! Its that simple!
